Port Pirie Long Track Speedway

Rebuilding the legacy of a bygone era

The Port Pirie Long Track gave us memories that lasted a lifetime, and now it’s our turn to give back. Driven by volunteers and speedway passion, we are restoring this historic venue to its former glory. From the track surface to the canteen, every shovel of dirt brings us closer to race day. Whether you're a past racer, a local business, or a race fan, there is a place for you in this project. Help us cross the finish line.

Help Us Bring the Roar Back to Port Pirie.

The Port Pirie Speedway isn't just a track; it's a piece of Australian motorsport history. Since 1933, this venue has hosted State and National titles, legends of the sport, and thousands of spectators. After sitting idle since the early 2000s, the SA Longtrack Speedway Supporters Club has secured the lease and is working hard to restore the facility to its former glory.

Your donation helps fund:
- Essential earthworks to rebuild the track surface.
- Critical repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and fencing.
- Restoration of the complex after years of storm damage and vandalism.

A working speedway brings crowds, boosts the local economy, and gives racers a home. Every dollar gets us closer to dropping the green flag again.
